Yesterday's house looked like it belongs in Phoenix with its Spanish architecture. Today's house looks like it belongs in the Midwest, with its brickwork and high pitched facade.
there are not many houses in Phoenix made with brick, at least not in the last 50 years.
I would never have guessed this home is in Phoenix. Yesterday's yes! This landscaping looks so hard to maintain in the HEAT of AZ. However, the place is BEAUTIFUL and it is so nice of you to show the range of housing in your city.
It is interesting to compare, isn't it? Similar color, similar arch, but one is high style and the other is homey. For people with different wants and aspirations.

ReplyDeleteIt is still very lovely though!
ReplyDeleteI love this house. Another that I had driven or walked by and thought... "I could live there."
ReplyDeletethis historic home looks like it came from a storybook
ReplyDeleteBeauty inside, I bet.
ReplyDeleteVery different indeed. But very nice also.
ReplyDeleteA very stately manor house, I think. I, too, prefer yesterday's to today's because it looks more manageable.
