The flower bud may look similar, but the Egyptian woman in the hieroglyphic is holding the flower stem in her hand. I don't think she would hold a cactus flower that way.
Interesting how the ancient Egyptians had a sense for color coordinating the aqua color of the flower bud, the hair piece, and the woman's dress and jewelry.
