Would Chagall be flattered?

A close friend and I stopped in to our local Cheesecake Factory late one evening for a night cap after viewing a movie that hadn’t lived up to its hype. Seated at the bar, I noticed the Chagall-like fresco on the ceiling.

So what do you think? Would Chagall be flattered?

  2. The colors and lines do have a Chagall inspiration, but it seems too whimsical for Chagall.

I love the Chagall stained glass windows in churches in Paris, Rheims and Zurich. I also enjoyed the sign in the cathedral in Rheims identifying the Chagall window and describing him as "a Russian-born French artist."

  9. Don't get me wrong...but who cares about Chagall? You said "cheesecake" and my mind just went blank. :)

  10. What a great find! Like David, I love the Chagall windows. The ones in the Chicago Art Institute take on different hues, depending on the time of day and the sun. Chagall is a genius!
