A close friend and I stopped in to our local Cheesecake Factory late one evening for a night cap after viewing a movie that hadn’t lived up to its hype. Seated at the bar, I noticed the Chagall-like fresco on the ceiling.
So what do you think? Would Chagall be flattered?
Very well composed shot, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteThe colors and lines do have a Chagall inspiration, but it seems too whimsical for Chagall.
ReplyDeleteI love the Chagall stained glass windows in churches in Paris, Rheims and Zurich. I also enjoyed the sign in the cathedral in Rheims identifying the Chagall window and describing him as "a Russian-born French artist."
Yum. Love the Cheesecake Factory.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty but I can't get the word cheesecake out of my mind now.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, however I know for a fact that my stomach would adore it!
ReplyDeleteThis is quite lovely, and cheesecake too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place!
ReplyDeleteOh how I miss the Cheesecake Factory. Thanks for the inside view!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Cheesecake and wine… yummm!
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong...but who cares about Chagall? You said "cheesecake" and my mind just went blank. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! Like David, I love the Chagall windows. The ones in the Chicago Art Institute take on different hues, depending on the time of day and the sun. Chagall is a genius!
