Pigeon Holed
I drive by this building often and have admired the 1950’s look and the disappearing stair case. When I stopped to take some photos, I saw that the building is vacant, but the pigeons have made fine use of that concrete block façade that covers the top floor.
Thanks for both views, Sharon. It's interesting to see the top shot in context.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he owns the place.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. I wish they'd find a "hotel" in my neighborhood. Instead, they just "camp out" in my palm trees!
ReplyDeleteSharon-
ReplyDeleteI've searched and searched to try to find 3 solid blocks open to the left with 4 hole blocks to the right and then find Mr. Pigeon.
Alas, there is only 1 place where you can find that combo of 3 solid and 4 hole blocks to the right but I can't see Casa Pigeon....... is there more to that building we can't see?
the first photo is wonderful. very clever
ReplyDeleteSmart pigeons! I also like this 50's façade very much. Hope it will last.
ReplyDeleteI really like the building for the same reasons you do...but the pigeons can be such a nuisance.
ReplyDeleteHope some humans find a place in this building soon.
Another great bird capture. I kind of like that building too.
ReplyDeleteI think that those pesky critters are following you, Sharon!
