Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Unusual design in principle..
What an unusual construction! It's an eye-catcher and a cogent reason for a rest.
This is so cool! I've never seen anything like this.
Somehow you imagine donuts being sold in 'rounder' buildings. This has so many angles, but the roof looks almost like a ramp to roll the donuts down.
This is an unusual building for ANY business. The architect has an unusual imagination. "Krimpy Kreme" ... did you indulge?!
Kate, no I didn't indulge. I'm not much of a doughnut person. That would be a good thing because I'm way too much of a chocolate person.
Sharon, has it always been a Krisy Kreme building or did it start its life as something else? Really unusual.
Magpie, good point. I'm not sure. I just spotted this place for the first time. It's located up by Paradise Valley Mall.
Now that would be bad for a person trying to lose a few pounds. A Krispy Kreme store with a drive up window! Not fair. It doesn't look like it's open though. I like the clock on top.
Is it still open? I thought they all closed here, but this one looks almost brand new.Sharon, the picture of St. Joseph was taken at a Catholic church on my trip home. I have never been to the Children's Hospital. Maybe I should go.
This is an unusual building, but I bet the doughnuts are still delicious.
Very! But it's kind of fun. And I agree with Glenda. :)
