Cardinal

I'm not sure what kind of bird this is. I spotted it at the Desert Botanical Garden.

  4. I'm thinking Cardinal as well. The bill looked so large! But, my Sibley's book says " Southwest populations of Northern Cardinal (mainly Arizona) have a large bill ... and longer and bushier crest"
