This past week has been very gray and rainy culminating in a storm on Thursday that dumped a record amount of rain and snow over Arizona's normally dry landscape. After several days of rain, we are treated to these large cotton-like islands floating in the sky over Camelback Mountain.
That's a pretty cool general view. I'm glad your stormy weather is over, what I wouldn't give to have a bit of blue sky too. Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky yesterday. I am glad the rain stopped for all the people in the Phoenix area for the 4 big classic car auctions in Scottsdale this week.
ReplyDeleteThese clouds are really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't just that the sky was clear - the air was clean and crisp. It was a beautiful day. Great picture of Camelback Mtn.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Sharon!Phoenix is much prettier with puffy clouds. Hope your enjoying your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous picture. You can tell just by looking at it that it was a perfect day to be outside.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see the mountain. I saw the movie and thought it looked like lovely countryside. You have confirmed how lovely it is
ReplyDeleteWe're all reveling in post-storm snowy mountain pictures here in the San Gabriel Valley! Isn't it nice when we get these kinds of beautiful vistas after yucky weather?
ReplyDeleteI love this shot, Sharon. The desert is so pretty with clouds hovering above.
This is lovely, Sharon! So sharp and such beautiful light! Glad to know storms are over; it seems the sun will shine the whole week here! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe clouds are huge and I bet they were also pretty. At least they are in the photo.
ReplyDeleteA lovely scene, Sharon. I don't remember this place; probably many years after my time. I wondered if those people were fishing, or just sitting by the water meditating?
