Lois Anne and I went to Phoenix in 1959 from Minneapolis to find jobs and an apartment. We stayed in a motel on the east side of town. One night I saw a sunset like I'd never seen before. So I took out my little Retinette 35 mm and snapped a shot (Kodak slide film). At the time I thought it was the most magnificent photo I had ever seen.
Nothing like Arizona sunsets and this is beautiful!
