While waiting for the light rail to pass and the traffic light to change, I glance to my right and see this tall skyscraper. This is the 3300 Tower and it sits right in the heart of the Mid-town business district. On days when there are clouds in the sky, they are beautifully reflected in all the mirror-like glass.
Super BLUE photo! I know there are thousands of hues of blue here yet the reflection looks so uniform! If you cross-stitch, you can imagine ALL the shades of blue that would be needed!
ReplyDeleteThis is the building that I talked about in the comment I left yesterday. If your photo had captured the ground floor of the building, it would show that there is no sidewalk or door facing the corner on which the building sits. The entrance faces the parking garage on the back of the building because in Phoenix, who would ever walk to the building except from their parked car?
ReplyDeletewow, i love this skyscraper! ^-^
ReplyDeleteit's very blue indeed...
I love the near symmetry of this shot. Really satisfying capture.
ReplyDeletethe angle on this is really neat.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you composed this shot. It's beautiful with all that blue glass and sky.
ReplyDeleteGreat perspective, Sharon. It seems we both have posted buildings having a similar kind of palm tree in front! :-)
ReplyDeleteA really cool, blue tower! Great angled composition. Dramatic!
ReplyDeleteSuperb & modern looking structure! Shot in a very nice perspective! The reflecting blue on the glass adds so much to the beauty of this picture!

ReplyDeleteThat's nice to take us to work with you. I like the composition, the palm tree in front of a modern glass building is cool.
