Lizard
It wasn’t only frogs that posed for me on Saturday. This colorful lizard was very obliging also. Not being an expert on lizards, I won’t attempt to name him. I’ll just admire his beauty.
Sure looks like he is getting warm in the sun. I think they have to do that before they can get started, don't they? Not sure I got my animals right on this one.
Sharon, I will ask my son, Stuart, to see if he can chime in on the type of lizard that it is. I would trust his opinion more than Julie's when it comes to reptiles.

great lizard. i think it is the black collared lizard. we have several in our yard. they get rather large in size and are territorial.
