Looking south from yesterday’s position, we now see more of the tall buildings that make up the Central Avenue Corridor. On the right, the Bank of America building is plainly marked and is reflecting the two office buildings I featured on Saturday. The three high rise buildings on the left are all part of the Phoenix Plaza, an office complex that was built between 1988 and 1990. I featured a major artwork located in front of the Phoenix Plaza on
July 21st, 2008.
All very nice views.
ReplyDeleteThe Central Avenue corridor is like a linear extension of downtown, as I would estimate that there are more high rise office buildings stretching up Central Avenue from downtown to Camelback Road than there are downtown.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you took your photo from the parking lot at Park Central, which sadly is a shell of its former self, as the department stores have closed and the space has been re-used as office space.
Great light and reflections too!
ReplyDeleteNice reflections of the soft glow of the sun on the high rises. I am glad you enjoyed the dancing Chihuly on my site today. It was hard to capture it just right so it looked like dancers. I am also glad you enjoyed the resort photos at the Scottsdale Fairmont. Definitely a nice place to enjoy too.
