Powder Puff

This is the blossom of the Calliandra shrub, more commonly known as the powder puff plant. It is extremely attractive to bees as you can clearly see.

  8. excellent photo of feathery red. it looks very soft. Also, thanks for your comments on my website and I am glad you understood the comment about trying to photograph this particular Chihuly glass piece as I too had tried different photos on different days and finally got this one. The art installation now looks like it should; otherwise it was not very dramatic.
