I couldn't resist getting a photo of this cute little cactus wren I saw sitting on a wall. When I raised the camera, he looked right at me as if to say "who are you and what do you want"?
Luckily, the sight of my camera pointing his way didn't deter him from his wall-top observations.
He stayed put long enough for me to get three shots of him as he took stock of his surroundings. These little birds are always busy either building nests or looking for food. It's fun to see one sitting still for a change.

What an absolutely beautiful little bird.
ReplyDeleteYour camera picks up so many details...the speckling on the breast, the color variation on the tail, the "What are you looking at , lady?" look. What a sweet little bird!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little bird, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, if we could know what they are thinking.
ReplyDeleteI like that third one the best -- you can really see the bright-colored eye. But it is interesting to see the first one, too. It's not often we get to see what a bird looks like peering at us head-on!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little bird and not camera shy at all.
ReplyDeleteyes, looks like this bird is trying to work out who and what you are.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little bird 🐦 that seems to be posing for you.
