Those pretty purple and white flowers that I posted yesterday weren't the only wildflowers blooming at the Desert Botanical Garden. There was a nice patch of Mexican Hat coneflowers to admire.
Some Baja Fairy Dusters were scattered about.
The Indian Blanket flowers were making an appearance.
And there were plenty of chocolate daisies pushing their way above all the other flowers. There was certainly an explosion of color along the wildflower trail Thursday evening. Seeing all those wildflowers will make up for the fact that I missed the prime cactus blooms. My timing was off when it came to catching them this year.

All the flowers' names are so descriptive. Mexican Hat coneflowers, Baja Fairy Dusters, Indian Blanket flowers, Chocolate Daisies...how fun!
Absolutely beautiful!
Such a variety, Sharon. Beautiful.
Mexican Hat coneflowers - I have never seen them.
They would look lovely painted on my new vases! : ))
The Baja fairy dusters are similar to plants we have in Florida that I've always called puffballs. The flowers are maybe more spherical, though. I like the background of the daisy photo.
I like the Mexican Hat coneflowers, they are beautiful. I've never seen those before.
The fairy dusters remind me of flowers here from the Pohutukawa tree.
So pretty
