Lot's and Lot's of Orchids

When I was at the garden on Wednesday morning, I made a point of visiting that orchid exhibit one more time.  It's scheduled to end on May 11th and I wanted to make sure I saw it once again.

So today I have an abundance of orchids to show you.  There were so many varieties it is a bit of an adventure trying to identify them all.

There are large blooms and then there are tiny blooms.  If I had seen these yellow ones blooming by themselves I would never have guessed they were orchids.

They don't have the orchids labeled in this display so I don't know the names of all of these.  I just know they are all beautiful and I'm glad I got to see them in this environment.

  1. Orchids are so beautiful. According to Wikipedia, "Orchids are cosmopolitan plants that are found in almost every habitat on Earth except glaciers." That's a fun fact!

  2. A beautiful assortment! I wonder where all the orchids go when the show is over? Do they sell them? Maybe you can take one home!
