Snowy Trees

It's that time of year when the flowering pear trees are full of white blooms that look like snow.  This one was looking especially heavy with pretty, white booms.

While nearby, these two rows of trees are still waiting for their spring buds to appear. These deciduous trees look attractive in their own barren way.

My grandfather taught me to look for signs of spring and the weather, in the trees, the bloom, the leaves. When the leaves on the oak trees are as big as a squirrel's ear, it is safe to plant the garden (or field of corn).

You are right. Every tree has its charm.

The spring blossoms are wonderful to see, Sharon. The other trees look like they look here.

Trees bloom here in the UK over the course of a couple of months, depending on the variety. So we see similar sights!

Is it a Viburnum? I'm trying to work out the name of it.
