No River, Just Wind

A tiny bit of the California rain storm made its way over here this last week.  We didn't get much rain so no "atmospheric rivers" here.  We did get quite a lot of window-rattling wind.  The wind lasted two days and ended with some big, puffy clouds hanging over the mountains.  Those clouds make such a perfect frame for this mountain view.

I have anew post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  I'm walking along the Thames.

Tempe is amazing. When my Dad transferred to Phoenix, I transferred to ASU. Tempe was just a collection of a few buildings along River Road, there was very little traffic so I could ride my bike from ASU to my parents' house in Scottsdale. These days, one would be killed in traffic. The flower festival looked very cheerful. We got two days of lots of wind, and a day and a half of rain. It's supposed to return soon, as round two hits California.
