When I went to the airport last month for my flight to Santa Fe, I saw this mural that I had not seen before. It was created by Howardena Lindell and it's a glass mosaic mural called "Memory Arizona". I see lots of Arizona memories in this mural. There are two buildings from ASU, a glass high-rise from Central Avenue, a saguaro cactus and the mountains that surround our city. There are also a couple of things represented that no longer exist.

It is such a busy and energetic mural with so many stories embedded within it.
What a wonderful mural!
Colourful and interesting to look at. I wish I was familiar with Arizona.
The airport seems to be updating nicely
That's a very busy mural, but I like it nonetheless.
The colours and details are wonderful, Sharon.
A nice mix of the natural world and the modern, human one.
What a lovely mural with lots to see.
And that's why they're memories.
Even though it is more personal to you, Sharon, it is a stunning and energetic mural with lots of color and vibrancy. It is wonderful.
It's quite a beautiful mural with lots to discover. I'm sure the airport passengers enjoy looking at it. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Sharon.
