I went Arizona Opera's production of "Ariadne auf Naxos" last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed a show full of humor as well as music. The opera was written by Richard Strauss and was full of humorous situations. I snapped the photo of the opening set before the opera had started.
I snapped the photo to the left in the lobby of the theatre where the Christmas Tree was situated right under the chandelier that hangs around the skylight.

Pretty place
I would never have associated the words "opera" and "humor." I don't know much about opera but I've always imagined it to be SO serious, for lovers of serious music. So thanks for pointing out that it has a lighter side!
Nice looking theatre.
That last photo looks good!
Sorry to say I am not a Opera fan... but I do like the Christmas decor.
I like the building design.
That chandelier is wonderful. You are out & about so much, Sharon.
That's an impressive chandelier and Christmas tree.
You have a cultured life!
