Secluded Fountain
I used to work for an organization that held meetings and events at an event space in north Phoenix. I was always curios about this fountain that was isolated on the property behind a fence.
Recently I drove up to the center to see if the fountain was still there and if it was still secluded behind a fence. It was there and still surrounded by a tall fence. Strange, since it's the only thing inside that enclosure.
The space is located directly across from the main entrance to the event space. Maybe it's just used for photo opportunities when they are hosting a wedding party. That's going to be my guess.

Yes, a pity to hide it away behind a fence.
I wouldn't have thought of that but I think you are right, Sharon!
I think you may be right Sharon, it looks like the space for private events, it's a lovely fountain though, would be nice if it was shared a wee bit more ☺
I imagine that is the case.
Weird! Maybe the lawyers made them fence it to keep little kids out.
You might be right. They might hold some events out there too, who knows.
There are always restrictions and some don't make sense. It's too bad that fountain can;t be seen by other people. Maybe you are right about it being restricted.
I was going to say what Steve said; keep the toddlers out... Still. Weird. Cool pic of a nifty fountain! Thank you for sharing it.
I wonder if the fence was erected because too many people frolicked in the fountain after a happy evening of imbibing? Sometimes that occurs at company meetings; at least that happened more often in days of yore. Not saying that I either watched or participated in that activity!!
That is a mystery, isn't it?
