The shadows of this tree against a white wall was suddenly very appealing to me so I took a few shots. I was standing in a parking lot at the time.
I can't decide which I like better, the one with the top of the wall showing or the one where I've zoomed in a little to show only the tree, the wall and the shadows. What do you think?

These shadows are fascinating. The tree did it's part with the bending and twisting.
Really nice find. Love the way the shadow hits the wall.

Very eye catching! I think I like the second shot better where you zoomed in. Great photos!
Both are nice. I wonder how many people notice the beauty in something as simple as trees and shadows.
I like them both, but the 2nd shot offers more creativity...it would be great as the cover of a mystery novel, or Halloween costume.
Both are lovely, though I do prefer the first one.
Both are very nice, but the lower photo is exciting. It's more than a mirror, it's like a shift in time. I like it a lot. Where in town was the wall?
T J, it was at the Heard Museum.
Nope can't pick Sharon, both fab shadow shots. I took one so similar a few days ago, it is a wee bit hard to ignore a wall shadow shot opportunity ☺
For some reason I like the top one best but like them both, Sharon!
I like them both but I prefer the second one, just the tree and its shadow.
They're both good but I think the second one is my favorite.
I'll bet you would not have noticed this before you began concentrating on your photography. I tell people that one of the things I enjoy about taking pictures is that it makes me look at things more closely.
I agree with Bill.
