Natural Landscaping
Yesterday I told you about the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass Resort and the convention facility of that resort. Today I have more photos of the landscaped area around that convention facility.
Although the grounds have been sculpted, the grounds look very natural and represent well the land familiar to the Native American community who lives here.
The setting is very natural and very peaceful. I saw a lot of small wildlife and birds also enjoying this picturesque area. If it hadn't been approaching 107 degrees (41c), I would have spent more time there enjoying the view.

You found paradise.
The reflections are beautiful!
Looking at the pictures, you would never guess how hot it was.
Oh I'm not looking forward to those 41C summer days :) The gardens couldn't be more perfect for the resort, someone has put a lot of thought into this endeavour. You've caught two beautiful reflections here Sharon, nice work!
Nice! I'm amazed any wildlife was out in 107-degree temperatures -- but I guess taking a dip in the pond would make sense.
It seems serene, even in the heat!
Landscaping makes a huge difference in most any situation. The landscaping here is so well done and fits in so well with the natural beauty. 107 isn't too bad for Phoenix in the summer. Well, I mean it's terrible but it could be worse. :) Stay as cool as you are!
It is beautiful, Sharon! 107˚F -wow!
I love vacationing by lakes and oceans, but I feel an equal draw to the Southwest. There is something magical about the desert.
