Theme Day: The Beauty of Simplicity

This theme appeals to my artistic side.  I do admire simple designs and patterns.  I think this shot fits the theme perfectly.  A little touch of a Phoenix palm tree and one little puffy cloud in the sky above it.  What could be more simple?

Nature lends itself beautifully to this theme. Perfect shot for the theme and your part of the world.

In Phoenix, in the summer, I'd say this indicates the weather was simply hot! Beautiful shot, though.

I loved the palm trees when I lived down there.

Just perfect for theme day. That's a different kind of palm than the ones that live across the street from me. Great shot.

Great choice. That sponge cloud could be pricked by the palm.

This illustrates one of the things I like so much about the desert - the openness, the wide, wide views.
