Scottsdale "Ladies"
I think I featured these "ladies" who stand along Main street in old town Scottsdale before but, I can't locate the post. They are still there looking elegant and decidedly European.
This one seemed to be watching me over her shoulder.
As you can see from this photo, they are located in front of some shops along with that cluster of Golden Barrel Cactus that I featured yesterday. All of them were soaking up some late afternoon sunshine one recent Sunday.

That's a very interesting place to put them. They don't become noticeable until you get closer. They look really great though.

Yes, I remember these "ladies", I've seen them on a previous post on your blog.
And yes, they look decidedly European.
Impressive.
The light in this photo is so soft. I recognized the cactus immediately :).
The Scottsdale ladies are lovely Sharon..tres elegant welcome for visiting shoppers.
Beautiful additions to this shopping arcade. I love the "European-ness" of them!
I like these a lot. And why should Europe have all the impressive statuary? I was really surprised by the name of the place. I'm sure he owns a college in Arizona. I went there. It was called the School of Hard Knox.
They're well illuminated!
Lovely light and sort of Roman looking to me!
And there's a Native something shop there...
They do lend a very elegant air to the place, Sharon!
Love that second shot!
Lovely ladies! I especially like the second picture. The shadows are nice too.
I guess the sobriquet "Scottsdale - the West's Most Western Town" is long gone. Maybe about the time one of it's most fervent supporters disappeared: the late Mayor Herb Drinkwater.
Some classy lookin' babes!!
Very, very nice.
