It's citrus season here, too, and yards are full of colorful fruit hanging from branches. Pretty soon we'll see boxes of grapefruit by the side of the road with signs that say, "Help yourself, they're free!"
At the home we occupied for years in central Phoenix there was a hedge of ornamental orange trees separating us from our neighbors. When the oranges arrived every year there were hundreds of them. By the way, they're too sour to eat but they make marvelous marmalade.

The decoration is striking, elegant and festive, but I prefer the natural bulbs.

It is relatively cold here, but we have our 'season' here too! I will post something alike in the next days...
