Yesterday I had something that looked like fall colors but wasn't and today I have the real thing. While I was walking around old town Scottsdale on Friday I noticed a lot of fallen leaves in one courtyard.
When I looked up at the source, this is what I saw. This tree is turning a wonderful golden color and shedding it's leaves as the breeze blows. This tells me that I'll soon be seeing more leaves changing color here in the desert southwest.
I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today. I'll be standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona.

Wow. The tree is absolutely gorgeous.
Autumn is pretty much gone here and cold winter days are greeting the lands. The tree in your shot is really pretty.

The color is fabulous!
Love the setting on top and the yellow below!
A gorgeous tree!
I absolutely love that first shot...it is a fabulous photo! Perfectly composed. Everything works. It's one for the wall! Very artsy.
I did a post on leaves today (again) too. Blasted things are cluttering up my yard.
A lovely golden, too!
Old Scottsdale is so different from the rest of the city. And it seems so odd to be talking about the height of fall foliage as the trees here become bare.
A carpet of gold, I love it Sharon!
What a lovely, visual walkway!
These are really lovely.
I appreciated your visits while I was in Africa the last month and generally incommunicado. It was fun when I got near wifi and saw your always kind comments.
