Holiday decorations in the "hood"
I took a long walk in my new neighborhood a few days ago and took some photos along the way. My new place is on the Arizona Biltmore property and sits right on the edge of the Biltmore Estates so I have some pretty "fancy" neighbors. Now I can admire all these grand homes while I get my walking exercise.
One of the houses had this extra large nativity set (above) sitting in the center of their circle driveway.
This house had a solid gate so the only decorations I saw were these red bows on the lamps.

Hoity toity! You are in an exclusive area. I remember driving by the Biltmore Estates often. Pretty bow. We have four bows up on the garage and lamppost. The sun has bleached them so now they are orange. Do you think we should get new, red ones?
BTW, you might like Panera Bread...the bread is fresh daily and they offer a lot of options. It was started by a fellow in Boston and they give away all leftover bread everyday. They also forgo meats that have been "lobotimized" with antibiotics.
I like that gate.
Is the area growing? I mean have they 'builtmore' Estates or do they plan to? Grin.
Very stylish!
I absolutely love the entrance gate in the first shot.

It's fun to see how the "others" live, eh? ;-)
I like the wreaths on the gate in the first shot! It's nice to have a pleasant area to walk around in.
What a beautiful gate!
Simple but very effective!
We used to live just off 7th Street and Mitchell Drive. I used to walk the block or so down to the Prescott Country Club and get my exercise walking past the "rich people's" homes. It's good for dreaming.
That gate is pretty nice, Sharon. Your new neighborhood is going to offer tough competition.
I used to drive around there on the holidays too.
Nice decorations, but I like especially the nativity set.
