The Feast!

My friend David and I did the cooking for Thanksgiving this year and we turned out quite a feast.  David made the Brussels sprouts with cranberries, the chipotle mashed potatoes (in the pot) and the cheesy popovers and behind the popovers is the dessert, sticky toffee pudding.

I made the pork loin roast with rosemary and pine nuts......

....and my mom's stuffing.  It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without my mom's stuffing.

I also made the appetizer, minted sugar snap peas but I forgot to take a picture of those.

Fantastic, I'm sure it all 'disappeared' too ;-)

Oh my what a feast!
We missed so much the fact that we could not be in Arizona with our sons and friends this year... We still enjoyed some turkey...

I love your non-traditional roast; the sprouts with crane berries looks like a winner, too! Did you waddle away from the table?!

That is some feast! Wow. And it looks like you're working with a gourmet kitchen, too. But why is it I'm suddenly very hungry! The roast and stuffing are what I'd concentrate on. Oh, also the cheesy popovers, and sticky toffee pudding, and ...

Thanks for your note. Wishing you the best!

Wow! An eight burner stove. I'll bet there are two ovens, too. The food looks scrumptious.

Some very fine food, though some of it is a bit adventurous for a guy with bland New England taste buds!

It wasn't that David, was it? This looks fabulous. My son and his wife drove out from Chicago and made a wonderful dinner at my 96 year old mother in law's home in Kansas. I'm satisfied.

First time visiting your blog; I'm going to be moving to the Prescott area after Christmas and my son just moved to Phoenix about a month ago :) I'm really excited for our upcoming move!

Enjoyed looking at your pictures; those bird pictures were great; I love hawks and falcons.

And what a feast you and your friend cooked! Everything looked scrumptious!

I'm back. Any chance to get the recipe for the brussel sprouts and cranberries? Decided the colors would be perfect for our Christmas dinner.

Yum! That looks like a fab spread! I love sticky toffee pudding -- and I didn't get any stuffing this year, none being readily and visibly available in the Cotswolds. Oh well, maybe next year!
