One last bloom

My echinopsis cactus gave me one last bloom before I move away.  I'm so glad I noticed it when I got up early in the morning.  It gave me an opportunity to get a photo before sunrise.

And then, when it was lighter, I took another one.  One last show before I move away from this house.  I'll have to get another cactus like this one for the new place.  Cactus seems to be the only thing in can grow successfully.

So pretty and delicate! I couldn't help but notice that spooky looking face looking up at the flower in the first picture too.

That face is my owl face made from a rock. I bought it two years ago at the Desert Botanical Garden. It does look a tiny bit scary in this photo.

Beautiful ! Don't you take the cactus with you? And the face?

One last showy bloom! I like that owl. Is he going with you? If not, he can live in my flower bed with all the other rocks I've collected.

It's exquisite Sharon.. the delicate colour, the frilly edges.. beautiful. Would it be possible for some of your cactii to move with you ?

I always loved to see the flow of the stamens inside the flower.
Quite a present for you to enjoy before you leave.

I remember this cactus, a cousin of my echinopsis. :-) They reward us every year.
