I pulled these two photos out of my archives. Back in October of last year on a visit to the Heard Museum, I found a garden space with one wall painted red and a flowering vine growing up against it. I took several shots in different positions and I like how all of them turned out.
I think this one is my favorite.

I like these compositions, Sharon, and the red color of the background suggests to me some Chinese influence :)
Gorgeous shots Sharon...the red is most beautiful!

Such a great red color against the beauty of the flower.

I'd go with the first one... less visual clutter.
Cool shots! I can think of lots of things to use that bright red background for.
The vivid sets them off perfectly!
Beautiful shots, Sharon! I really like the 1st one.
This is stunning, the red wall really is a beautiful back drop for the vine.
The vines contrasts so well against that wall! That would be my dad's idea of a good shade of red.
Those are both gorgeous. Nothing like a red wall to bring out beauty in a photograph.
It does make for a dramatic backdrop.
It made for a nice backdrop.
Sharon, these two are both wonderful. They look like Asian-inspired wallpaper.
Excellent! I agree the bottom photo is especially nice, with the curve of that branch.
What a perfect background!
The flower looks fantastic against the red wall!
What beautiful and sharp color contrasts!
