Red Beauty
I visited the botanical garden six times over the past week to get some photos of the Chihuly exhibit being dismantled but, I didn't spend all my time watching workmen handle the glass. I just checked the total number of photos I have for all those visits and it comes to 476 and that doesn't count the 120 or so that I deleted. As always, there was plenty to see and to photograph.
Take for example the photo above. While I walking in the herb garden area, a nice man told me he found a gorgeous red flower hiding behind some other plants making it barely visible. He gave me directions to where he saw it and this is what I found. It really is a beautiful flower. There was no sign to tell me what type of flower it is; I just know I'm glad I saw it. A special thanks to that nice man for pointing me in the right direction.
Remember the June theme is "Zest".
UPDATE: I can't believe I found this flower by doing a Google search but, I did. It's called an Equestrian Starflower (Hippeastrum equestre). You've gotta love Google!

The flower with no name is a real beauty!
This is a fab image straight after yesterdays Sharon, the real and the created red beauties.. I recognise this gorgeous bloom but couldn't tell you the name.. darn my ageing memory :)
I have no idea what it is, but it is gorgeous! Glad you found where it was hiding.
It may have been hiding but it is sure pretty.
I'm sure someone will identify this beauty - I'll have to check back, Sharon!
A real beauty, Sharon, great close up!
I do believe we have these here in Ocala but I'm not sure of the name, either. You did take a lot of photos! Wow! This one is especially beautiful!
That's a beauty!
It is gorgeous!
Marvelous and colorful shot.
The title says it all. Great shot!
Sharon, that is just about as pretty a flower as I have ever seen. It looks like someone took an Easter lily and hand painted it.
It is a beauty and important since you found it on google!!
Some kind of lily. Very pretty.
