Theme Day: Entry
Today is the first of the month so this is the day that all City Daily Photo bloggers from around the world post a photo based on a selected theme. Today's theme is "Entry". I chose the entrance to one of my favorite spots in Phoenix, the Desert Botanical Garden. I snapped this one a week ago when I was there to take some night shots. I'm standing in the circular entrance where many people wait to meet their group or a friend who is joining them. You can see the little fountain in the center and in the background you can see the three Chihuly Desert Wildflower Towers that are on permanent display at the garden's entrance. I've featured many photos of them before. You can see one here.

That's rather a fabulous entry Sharon, there aren't many that can boast three Chihuly sculptures on show. I think you feel about the Desert Botanical Garden the same way I do about Kings Park, love it :)
Looks festive and welcoming!
A very enticing entrance it is too!
I expected something like this, beautiful choice for this theme day!
A perfect spot to photograph and post since it really reflects you and your interest!
Have enjoyed your glass images over the pst weeks.
And whenever you enter this place, we all benefit from your beautiful photographs!
what a pretty place...i wish my backyard looked like this!
It is a great entrance.
A dear friend of ours chose the Garden for his memorial service. It was a fitting site for a departure as well. We think about attending his memorial service every time we walk through that entrance.
An entry that you are very familiar with! Very pretty at night with the lights on.
This is lovely!
This is a wonderful entry, especially at night, and your photo captures it so nicely.
It looks so restful at night! Love the reflection in the water, Sharon.
Lovely photo.
Aren't you fortunate to have such a lovely, favorite place near you? Well done.
I love this shot. Nice Palo Verde.
It looks fantastic and it is fun to know that it is a favorite place you like to visit.
