….Oscar Mayer wiener.
I bet you've heard that song before. The Wienermobile was parked at my local Safeway store when I was there on Sunday and as you can see, people were posing as hot dogs in front of it. I didn't, but they did give me a cool whistle for stopping by.
If I'm not mistaken, my sister Judy got to climb inside when it was visiting Prescott last year. I didn't get that offer.

Fantastic piece of advertising and marketing!
Ask that is what Iw ould have done. Awseome looking thing
OMG who dreamt that up?
What a sight! :)
Did you know that there currently are 8 weinermobiles in existence? Couldn't resist doing a little research on this historical "car" and company. Perhaps next time you'll be invited inside.
I've seen photos of this before but have never seen the thing in person. Love the light and colors in this shot.
Did you hear the story about the man who found a bottle washed up on a California beach? When he picked it up, a genie popped out and offered him three wishes.
He was naturally delighted and said, "OK, I wish for a beautiful new Cadillac convertible." Whoosh, it was so and the car stood right in front of him. "For my 2nd wish," said the man, "I want a million dollars." Another Whoosh and the car was loaded with money.
The man then thought a bit and said "I think I'll save my last wish for another day." The genie said that would be fine.
So the guy got in the car, and headed for Malibu. It was a beautiful day so he flipped on the radio. He heard a catchy tune used for a commercial and began singing along.
"Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Mayer weiner."
Whoosh!
If they knew you had a blog they would have invited you inside.
But they will find this nice picture. The inside is kind of neat but not as eye catching as the outside. It's fun to see it going down the highway.
Well that made me smile Sharon :)
Aww, no whistle, no tour... maybe next time.
These guys really get around!
Such a big sausage! :-)
Great fun, Sharon!
Could go for a hot dog now to be honest with you :)
I am feeling deprived because I have never run across one of these. It is pretty colorful, isn't it?
Gotta give Lowell credit for his awful joke.
I remember when they came out the Arizona Animal Welfare League when I was working there. I even got a Wiener Whistle.
Funny! :-)
I'm laughing at Lowell's comment!
I feel sorry for the poor sod who drives this...
