Bloomin' Roses

The roses are starting to bloom at Steel Indian School Park.  I took a little walk there to see if they had any blooms and I was pleasantly surprised.  I'll have to go back in a few weeks because I think the rose bushes will be full of blooms by then as long as the weather stays nice.

I have a new post on Sharon's Sojourns today.  What to do on a rainy day in London is the subject this time.

Nice photo! I always have a problem getting adequate depth-of-field on macro shots of flowers. Even if I set the aperture at 22 or so, I can't get everything in focus. Annoying.

Wonderful splash of colour!

Roses are my favorite flowers! I really like the way you framed this and the aperture you used which blurred out the background.

When all is grays and browns or snow covered white, you get roses!

That is just gorgeous, I love the burst of color and that creamy bokeh! (Esp. after all our wintery storms lately)

Nice color and it looks as if it is ready to open up.

The shallow depth of field works nicely here.
