Another first of the month has rolled around and it's time for another City Daily Photo theme day. This months theme is "Pink" and I chose this pink flamingo that resides at the Phoenix Zoo. It was keeping its tiny little eye focused on me as I took its picture.

That IS a tiny little eye. It seems impossible that the bird could see anything out of that little pinprick! Nice sharp focus!

The flamingo may have had his eye focused on you, but you had your camera lens laser focused on him. Superb.

Great shot! A beautiful bird, and a good choice for today. So far the only real flamingos I can remember seeing are now yours and Lowell's in Ocala. I'd been convinced they only came in plastic, on suburban lawns!
