Playground....revisited
I posted a photo of this colorful playground back in 2010. At that time, this facility, Ryan House was just preparing to open to serve children with life threatening medical conditions and their families. I remember being struck by the bright colors and compact nature of this little playground and I have to admit that I wondered whether those bright colors would survive the harsh, destructive nature of full exposure to the Arizona sun. I'm happy to see that they certainly can. Three years later and just as bright as the day it was installed. Click the link and see the 2010 photo.

The playground equipment in Canada is just as colourful. They also hold up well through the cold winters.
The maker of playground equipment could use this in their ads. Too bad patio furniture and cushions are not as durable.
Wonderful and durable. I hope that many sick children spent some happy time in this area.
I want one of these playgrounds for adults!!! Have a great weekend! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
I'm not sure it would be fun to play outside on the playground when it's 110 degrees but in the cooler months this could be a place of smiles and laughter.
I think there's special paint designed for harsh climates Sharon, I know we have the same problem here and it's so worth using the good paint.
Great looking place for the kids to play, colorful and inviting!
Looks as good as new!
Bright colors seem to attract children.
Dave is so right in his comment :-)
A playground which is waiting for cooler days though.
We got one similar to this with all the bright colors and that's lasting well, also. Great fun for the kiddos and you did a very nice job composing this photo!
Well, Sharon, the bright colors are holding up, but it sure is not teeming with active children.
Very colorful.
What a colorful image, Sharon, very nice composed too.
At some temples in Egypt we still can see the original colours, although a bit faded, of course! :-)
