The look of fall has finally arrived in Phoenix now that it is full winter in the rest of the northern hemisphere. We here in the Arizona desert are having a cold spell this weekend. The temperature is not going to rise above 50 (10c). You can tell the long time residents from the visitors by the amount of clothing, scarfs, and coats vs. the shorts and T-shirts.

Perfect autumn image Sharon, even if it is a wee bit early..I had to laugh, its the same here, you can always spot the tourists!
Wonderful looking place to sit and relax.
Another wonderful photograph, Sharon! I'm really impressed by your photo skills. Everything works here and it's a lovely, warm scene, even though you say it's cool there.
We've had some cold weather, too, but this past week has been in the mid-80s most days and high 50s at night ... just about perfect.
Enjoy your cool days. Summer will arrive soon!
I wish...
You found the perfect scene for fall in the valley of the sun. We woke to 8 degrees this morning. Tomorrow our high is supposed to be 29. What a difference 100 miles can make.
Well, we both have benches today but mine has a bit of snow.
The best time of the year... and the loveliest too
This is a great photo.
We have covered our ficus and bougainvilla plants this weekend.
Covering ficus trees is tough. I have to climb a ladder.
You and Judy had the same theme. But probably too cold to enjoy either of the benches right now. Wishful thinking?
This is so beautiful...I miss my dear Fall leaves. I may get to see you in May!!!! if you would like to meet me? Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
Beautiful shot, Sharon.
It went up to 14˚C here today and I did see people out in shorts! We are all loving the temps which are warm for us at this time of year.
Fall in Phoenix in January. I never understand these things.
Your photo is excellent, Sharon.
Great shot. I heard about your weather. Pretty cold down there.
Definitely an autumn look. Lovely.
