Paris Dreams

Did I ever tell you that I have a "thing" for dishes?  Well I do.  I have way more sets of dishes than is reasonable.  The set I have pictured here is not new but, I got them out recently when I fixed a French themed dinner for some friends.  Using these dishes made the Beef Bourguignonne taste even better and brought back memories of Paris at the same time.

So cool! A good way to make think about a new trip to Paris...

I bet the dinner service in your house was a lot more friendly than the stereotypical French restaurant.

I like dishes too. Before my eyes focused I thought they were monogrammed for your last name!

I like dishes too, although I don't have many different sets. I don't think even thees pretty dishes would improve my cooking. I'd say you have some lucky friends.

Very nice, Sharon. Mixing up the dinner arrangements is a good idea. It keeps things fresh.

You should do a series of all of your collection.

A GREAT table setting. I just passed on a set of four Eiffel tower salad plates at Goodwill and I'm now kicking myself for it. Memories of Paris...how wonderful!

How very lovely! If you have a thing for dishes you would love the Portuguese porcelain. Have dinner with Barack and Michelle at the White House, as they use it on official receptions. :-)
