Last year I had several photos of the new courts building in downtown Phoenix that used a lot of copper in it's construction. This year we have another building going up and using copper also. This is going to be part of the Arizona State University campus in downtown Phoenix and given it's location, I'm guessing it will be another sciences building. It is located very near a cluster of other science and technology buildings.
I sure like the look of it so far!

The Dean of the ASU Law School visited our office for lunch on Tuesday and he said that there are now 12,000 ASU students attending classes in downtown Phoenix. That is a very beneficial contribution to the vitality of downtown. The law school will be moving downtown in the next few years.
Copper adds a distinctive look to the building. Great shots, Sharon.
Looks great!
Hi, Sharon. I remember the copper building from last year. Agreed, this building is very attractive. But, copper prices are very high now. I wonder if the university hedged copper prices or if it has to pay at current prices.
Thanks for visiting my blog while I was away. Great trip!
Wow! It's gorgeous!
that is a nice looking building!
It's going to be another nice looking building. Maybe I should cash in my penny jar so they won't run out of copper before it's done.
That is a lot of expensive copper! Looks fabulous though.
I wonder if it will all turn bluish-green in time.
I love it, wow!
I was going to say the same thing as Bruce Taylor....a patina would look really spectacular.
This one will age nicely.
The use of copper in architecture is fantastic!
