Tucson Architecture
When I was in Tucson last Friday for the golf tournament, I saw this beautiful home while I was riding on the golf course. I thought it had a quintessential Tucson style!
I don't know from "quintessential Tucson style," unless it refers to buildings that look like desert dwellings which this does and which is very nice and which I like, also, especially those doors to the courtyard.
Definitely Tucson. I would say out of all the places in Arizona, you will never see the same southwestern design twice--such an eclectic mix. That's what make it interesting and fun.
I grew up in an adobe house - you're making me homesick for AZ. Is that ocotillo sticks in the windows of the door? I've seen ocotillo used in cabinets and such, but not like this. Love this house.

The color of the doors complement the architecture and terrain. It is indeed quite lovely and Southwestern.

how i'd love to pass through those doors and explore the rest.

I love that style, especially complimented by the turquoise door.
Those doors just invite you in to the courtyard.
Fantastic array of sandy colours!
Love this, Sharon. The color of the door was used as an accent color on my back wall and I love it!
You found a beautiful home there and right on the golf course. Love those doors.
It certainly is a very distinct style Sharon, love the doors, they add a nice little splash of colour!
Looks right out of an old western! Love it.
Love the color of the doors, the beauty of Tucson!
Love it.
Interesting style, Sharon. How different the architecture can be...
I LOVE this, Sharon! Actually I'm a big fan of adobe architecture.
