Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
It makes sense for some to not like the scent of the Acacia tree. But to each his/her own. Very pretty spring photo!
You (and I) are obviously not among those who experience hay fever.
I have one at the bottom of my garden and I looooove the smell when it blooms. I thought the Acacia was an Australian tree, though I suppose they'll grow anywhere the climate is right. They look gorgeous in spring.
I feel a big sneeze coming.
We are on the same page. I did my sweet acacia post yesterday!...same as I put it, "perfume"!
It's a very pretty tree. I love the scent too.
Certainly looks stunning
I don't think that I have ever sen one. Lovely flower.
I know the name acacia, but I am entirely unfamiliar with it and its perfume. Maybe I will be in the southwest sometime in the spring . . .
Well I am aware of the orange blossoms but must admit not familiar with the acacia scent. I will have to find a tree and sniff deeply.
Our cottonwood trees are getting ready to spread their scent on the air, sweet too. I've never smelled acacia..
I see these trees blooming now, but haven't gotten close enough to one to enjoy the scent. I shall have to make that happen.
Acacias are beautiful usually outside your own backyard, :-) They grow fast and shed a lot...
I'd love to be there to test the scent myself. Love the little puff balls. Interesting color!
Beautiful! They're blooming here too.
