Mountain View
This restaurant is close to my work and is a good place meet friends for a glass of wine and nice dinner. It's located on the second floor of a building and has a large patio with a wonderful view of Camelback Mountain. It's called Cave & Ives and it has quickly become one of my favorite places. I balanced the little point and shoot camera on the end of the table to get this shot of the top of the mountain. It was a balmy night so those gas heaters weren't needed.
A few of you who read my blog asked what was on the menu of the dinner party I featured last Monday. Well, David posted the menu in his comment on my post. So scroll down and read just what a wonderful cook and host he is.

Looks like the palm trees are in a celebratory mood and are all lit up.
Looks like it was a fine evening. Sipping wine with this view would signal a wonderful night to me.
My goodness, what a feast David laid out. I hope the portions were small to be able to enjoy all those courses!
The place looks great and the light is wonderful.
This restaurant must be no more than 4 or 5 miles from our house, yet I am unfamiliar with it. Maybe that is doe to the fact that it is located on the second floor of a building rather than at street level.
What a terrific view. I love eating outside with the heaters on, so that won't be happening for a few more months!
So pretty with the palm lit up and the lovely twilight.
A pretty place with a nice view!
Wonderful patio!
I want to come for the next dinner at David's place! Wow!
Nice patio. I have never heard of the place... I'll have to check it out online.
I agree with you. This would be a good place to meet friends and socialize.
Have a happy Easter.
Have you ever climbed on Camelback? I did several times and always had a good time. It's really nice seeing it again and I would love this restaurant!
Great view.
I can see why this is quickly becoming a favorite spot.
