Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Look but don't touch!
Fresh and new colors, a delight for the soul.
Such a pretty flower surrounded by spikes, very exotic Sharon.
Yes, both exotic and beautiful. The pink is so deep and true.
Great color and composition.
Cactus have such exotic flowers. Just wish they lasted a bit longer.
Got another dusting of snow last night. It's spring? Really? What's May? hahaha
Cactus blossoms always amaze me. I guess you have to be extra beautiful to tempt a bee close to the cactus. :)
I wonder if these cacti at the DBG are the only ones in the state that bloom this early. I haven't seen blooms yet down where I'm at.
I look forward to the spectacular photos you will take of the brilliant cacti over summer
Such vivid colours!
It's interesting how such spiny and scary looking plants can come forth with such beautiful blossoms!
You captured them beautifully, too!
So lovely and one of my favorites.
I used to grow cacti - the only plants I could keep alive! - I always loved it when they flowered.
You know I can only love this! Mine are also blooming. :-)
