A new eating and drinking establishment in downtown Phoenix is this place called The Tilted Kilt.
In case you were wondering, yes the young, female wait staff wear exactly what you see depicted on the door. I won't even begin to comment on the need for some establishments to have young, scantily dressed girls serving food and drink in a sports themed environment. I could say.....no...I'm not going to comment.

Just another Hooters with a different name I suppose.
I'm sure the whole concept was thought of by a man!
Anything to sell a gourmet Burger!
Funny commentary, Sharon! :-)
I have never been inside a Hooters or similar establishments.
A friend of mine was downtown at the complex where this restaurant is located on a recent Sunday morning, with her toddler in a stroller and a friend of hers, also with a young child. They were ready for an early lunch, and the only restaurant that was opened was the Tilted Kilt. They ate there, and probably ruined the ambiance of the place while they were there.
hmmm.
Will certainly give Hooters some competition; interesting commentary on our society's values. Maybe I'm just getting old!! Wait a minute...I am old! And wiser!!
I guess if the girls are pretty enough, the food doesn't have to be that good. Had to laugh at Dave's comment.
People need to eat!
I thought it was the men who wore the kilts???
I'm trying to get back to my blogging friends...I've missed you all so much.
I'd rather have good food.
Something for the stomach and something for the eyes ... Enjoy your meal.
Lol, I'll never know but then I'm not a sports loving man... :-)
Happy New Year!
What do the male staff wear? Or are there any?
We got one of these in Ocala not so long ago right after Hooters went out of business. My understanding was that this place is a substitute for Hooters.
We've not patronized this establishment but might have to just to check out how much the kilts have tilted!
I have never been in a Hooters, either, but I've walked by one. Is that one in the Arizona Center still open?
Hooters came to mind for me as well. I would absolutely hate to wear that and serve total strangers. Bleh! Hope they get decent tips at least!!!
I'm with you Sharon, no comment.
I agree with Kathy on this one.
There is nothing I can say that won't get me in trouble. Let me try this: I like pretty girls and I like sports.
Nice doors!
Love all the above comments Sharon, Jack and Lowell are hilarious!! Well at least they do have SOME clothes on haha!
I love looking at mens kilts you know. There's something sexy down that stuff and I enjoyed looking at these blog. Thanks.
