Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Wonderful shot...!
He certainly stands out against the deep blue sky!
Haha, cute! Wonderful shot Sharon.
Doesn't look a very comfy seat! Nice shot though.
Lovely shot Sharon, my what a long beak he has. I haven't seen one of these before.
I am always amazed at how their little feet (and even their bodies) don't get speared with all those spines.
I like very much this kind of picture depicting the moments we often see but never have enough time to position the camera and take a picture from.
We were away for the holiday weekend, as you know, so i am just catching up on your holiday posts today. I love your Tovrea Castle at sunrise photo.I assume that today's bird is gathering some warm rays of the sun to offset the breeze.
He looks pretty 'cool' up there with nothing but the wind in his future.
Ouch! Not a very comfy seat! I wonder how they keep from getting needled!
What a sky! He must have to sit very gingerly.
Great shot, but I'm glad I'm not a bird--ouch!
Great spot to check out his environment.
I really, really like this picture!
Well capture, great eye.
Nice bird shot, Sharon. I hope he had a comb with him.
Now that's an unusual looking bird.
Lovely! What a great capture.
