The leaves are finally starting to fall from the trees here in Arizona. We don't get the gorgeous reds that are seen in the east. It's mostly yellow and browns that we see. I thought this shot might be prefect for the last day of 2011. Out with the old, in with new year! Celebrate safely everyone!

A good choice for a New Year's photo. I'm ready for a new year. How about you?
Now we have a bit of snow here..
Happy New Year Sharon!
All the best, Karl.
Julie and I look forward to celebrating the new year with you this evening. She and her mother bought ingredients today for our gourmet meal, which we know you are up to tacking in our kitchen.
how beautiful, sharon, like blossoms of leaves. best wishes to you for 2012.
Sounds like your New Year's eve will be a memorable one with good friends. Celebrate for all of us. Happy New Year to you, Sharon, and may 2012 bring you much happiness and an abundance of blessings.
A fitting choice here. Happyhappyhappy!
Very colorful. Our leaves are turning also.
Have a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year, Sharon!
Wonderful post. Happy New Year!
We are in Arizona too but our trees have been bare for well over a month and the ground covered with snow! I think it might be confusing for people who have never spent much time in our state. Many think it is all hot and dry. We have two ski resorts in Arizona!! Happy New Year!
You raise a good point Judy! I forget that you have normal seasons where you are, just two hours north of here!
We all get a fresh start tomorrow. Hope your new year brings much to make you happy.
I love to walk through the crunchy leaves with my dog, great shot to end 2011 with. See you tonight, don't forget your apron. (ha ha)
I completely forgot about winter grass until I saw this. Make for a nice contrast.
Happy New Year, Sharon! This is what my backyard looks like right now.
Good choice for a year-end shot!
