Thursday morning I joined fellow volunteers at the Torvrea Castle to change the lights to colorful Christmas light for the season. Every year the white bulbs that line the outside of the castle are switched out for red, green, and blue lights for the holiday season. We all donned Santa Clause hats and set about changing the lights on a cloudy, blustery morning. I think I might be ready to tackle my own decorations at home now.

such a fun capture!
It will stay a very unusual capture of the Torvrea! Nice.
I just left a comment on your Facebook page asking "How many volunteers does it take to change the light bulbs on Tovrea Castle?"
I look forward to seeing this at night.
This could have been an action shot as well! Hoping to see more pictures of Tovrea on upcoming issues of your blog.
I can't wait to visit this place! I also like the way the little red hats stand out against the building.
It was a blustery day to do this chore, but well worth it. Now the castle will look very festive.
You will have to grab your camera and tripod and take some night shots now!
This makes a fun and interesting picture.
Dave, to answer your question, if I'm counting correctly, it took 7 of us with one or two warming the bench.
What fun
What fun!
Looking forward to a night shot!
Looks like you had a good group of volunteers to help.
Well I wondered who changed all those lights. Now I know. Looks like fun!
