Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
I was able to see them last year. The DBG is really beautiful this time of year and the monarchs are the cherry on top!
Gorgeous! I would love to watch this Monarch Butterfly thing. Lucky you.
What a lovely capture. We once had a Russian Olive tree that attracted Monarchs like moths to a flame. Have you ever been to Mexico to see them?
They seem to like the same mesquite twig. Or maybe they just like each other.
I like this one. Nice work.
we both have monarchs on the mind today. this is truly wonderful!
Three in a row..fantastic shot of the Monarchs Sharon.
I've never seen three in a row like this - fantastic!
Wow, now that is a sight to see. Beautiful!
They are beautiful! And what a gorgeous photo you took of them, too.

How wonderful to see these little jewels decorating the plants! Super shot too!

Before I went away you could see individual Monarchs fluttering their way south but i have never seen a bunch of them together. How lucky you are and a great shot!
What a great composition!
This is terrific, Sharon. I didn't know that butterflies mass together like this.

I've never seen so many Monarchs together! ;-)
I thought I saw something about this in the paper not too long ago! I'm going to have to make a trip back. They're so wonderful.
