Julie loves purple, and as know from coming over to our house last Friday night, I bought her some purple flowers. The were imported all the way from Columbia. They have now turned the water in the glass vase purple. I wonder what caused that? Artificial colors bleeding down the stem?
I have never heard of cut flowers turning the water the same color as the flowers.

These are really beautiful, Sharon. The botanical garden must be worth visiting again and again.
This is absolutely gorgeous! And Phoenix Suns colors to boot!

What a lovely photo! Go Planet Orange! (well maybe next year)
That photo just wakes your eyes up!
That's a gorgeous picture, Sharon. The details just pop.
Gorgeous! And as Kathy said, Phoenix Suns color combo!
Lovely - at first I though they were poppies but they are cactus flowers! Wow.
Love that lavender and red, orange mix.
That is a great color combination. I first thought the orange were poppies, now I am not so sure. Please what flower is the orange.
Stunning colorations! And for some reason I expected some bees to be swarming around...
Really beautiful, Sharon!
I thought that I had commented here yesterday, but I guess not. My initial reaction stems from the lovely combination of colours. Only in nature!!
Oooooo, nice photo! Those colors and blooms remind me of fireworks...

Who would guess that orange and purple would go so well together?!
