Ok... one of life's mysteries--- why do we cage birds? Let 'em fly, let 'em sing! Sheeeesh!
I do not like cages. And zoos, too.
I love to hear birds singing...I have owned Zebra Finches before and yes, they were kept in a cage. Sorry, guys.

The air must have been clear of death-dealing fumes!It is a nice-looking bird - rather unusual color. I tend to agree with Dave but it probably wouldn't survive very long outside of its cage.Re your comment on Ocala DP: I'm going to have to check further tomorrow, but it seems Dr. Harter & Associates remain in the building...
